Commemorating 131 Years Since the Illegal Overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy

March from Mauna’ala Royal Mausoleum to ‘Iolani Palace.
At ‘Iolani Palace: commemoration, entertainment, speeches.

Bring your own hāliʻi or chair and a flask for water.

Shuttles to Mauna’ala will run from 7:30 am to last pick up at ‘Iolani Palace at 9:00 am. Shuttle stop across from YWCA on Richards Street. Gates to ‘Iolani Palace opens at 6 am.

  2. Diagonal Crossover Beretania To Makai Side
  3. Right on Richards
  4. Left on King Street
  5. Turn left on Mililani Street into Palace

Onipa’a Peace March Line Up

Every year the Queen’s Portrait leads the march on the route – this has been happening for last nine years. The first few marches were just a couple hundred people led by Queen’s portrait carried by the founder of Queen’s Court, Kailana Moa-Eli. This year the event has grown but the spiritual route that Kailana carry’s the Queen on has remained the same
